 President Abdel Fattah El Sis affirmed the importance of the communication sector in pushing forward the national economy.
Receiving Minister of Communications and Information Technology Yasser el-Kady, the president called for developing the sector, continuing the implementation of youth rehabilitation and training programs on using the best means of modern technology, supporting creativity and innovative ideas and providing value-added services. Presidential spokesman Alaa Youssef said the minister briefed Sisi on the latest developments in the telecommunications sector, which grew by 11.2 percent during the first quarter of fiscal 2016/2017. |
