Egypt’s government is working to implement an all-out economic reform program and is determined to go ahead with legislative and administrative amendments to attract foreign investments in several projects, Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr asserted
She made the remarks during her participation in meetings of the Egyptian-Cypriot joint committee for economic, scientific and technical cooperation. The meetings, held in Nicosia, were also attended by Egyptian Ambassador to Cyprus Hussein Mubarak, Chief Executive Officer of the General Authority for Investment (GAFI) Mohamed Khodier and representatives of the ministry of trade and the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone). Speaking at the inaugural session, Nasr said the aim behind those meetings is to bolster economic ties between Egypt and Cyprus. Egypt enjoys a promising market, given its distinguished strategic location, Nasr asserted. |
