 President Abdel Fattah El Sisi held a meeting to follow up the construction of the new administrative capital.
The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Sherif Ismail, Housing Minister Mostafa Madboly and Head of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority Kamel el Wazir. The president received a report on the new design of the governmental district which will be built within the new administrative capital and will accommodate 100,000 employees, presidential spokesman Alaa Youssef said. The governmental district will be set up in two phases on an area of one million square meters, the spokesman noted. The president ordered making utmost use of the land, on which the project will be built, and reducing the construction cost as much as possible, Youssef noted. He also issued directives to prepare an all-out traffic plan to prevent any congestion in the new administrative capital, the spokesman concluded. |
