 President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said he is looking forward to boosting British investments in Egypt.
President Sisi made the remark during a meeting with a delegation of the Conservative Middle East Council (CMEC). Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry attended the meeting. President Sisi voiced appreciation of Britain's support for Egypt to clinch a loan deal with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), said Presidential Spokesman Alaa Youssef. Sisi underlined Egypt's eagerness to promoting cooperation with Britain, added the spokesman. The president stressed that Egypt will continue its war against corruption for building a modern infrastructure to cope with international development. The president underlined keenness on being frank with the Egyptians on pinpointing problems and solutions. Sisi said this policy made the Egyptian people ready to bear the high price of reform. The visiting delegates said they well aware of the historic change in Egypt, hailing the courageous step of taking such hard decisions. The delegation lauded Egypt's vital role in realizing stability in the region and fighting terrorism, underlining the importance of rallying international efforts in this regard. |
