 The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes went up at the close of trading amid purchase operations by foreign investors.
The market capital gained about EGP 2.9 billion to reach EGP 655.2 billion, after transactions hit EGP 761.8 million. The EGX 30 benchmark index increased by 0.04 per cent to close at 12,987.65 points. The broader EGX 70 index of the leading small and mid-cap enterprises (SMEs) rose by 0.97 per cent to stand at 565.34 points. The all-embracing EGX 100 index was also up by 1.04 per cent to record 1,320.01 points. |
