 Prime Minister Sherif Ismail received a delegation of the US Apache Corporation.
During the meeting, the premier affirmed the Egyptian government's keenness on implementing the economic reform program, which includes a number of legislation and decisions aimed at developing the investment atmosphere in the country. Ismail also stressed the great attention paid by the government to the oil and gas sector, and providing new areas for exploration operations nationwide, as well as providing other sources of energy to attract more investments and establish new projects. He added that Egypt has achieved significant progress in the electricity sector to meet all industrial, services and domestic needs. The delegation reviewed the company's operations in Egypt, affirming keenness on expanding them. |
