 Investment and International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr had talks with representatives of major US companies on boosting economic cooperation between Egypt and the United States.
Nasr’s meetings were held on the sidelines of her visit to Washington to take part in the 2017 Spring Meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund. The minister met with representatives from Apache Corporation for oil and gas exploration and production, Bechtel Corporation for construction and civil engineering, Mirasco, Visa, Exxon Mobil, IBM, FedEx, along with UPS, Lockheed Martin, Cargill, Chevron, Honeywell, Gilead Sciences and Textron. Nasr said the meetings aimed at following up Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's meetings with US companies during his recent official visit to Washington to promote economic cooperation between Cairo and Washington. |
