 Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr met in Washington with Hartwig Schafer, the World Bank Vice President for Operations Policy and Country Services for talks on accelerating the delivery of the third batch of the three-billion-dollar loan aiming at supporting Egypt's economic reform program.
The third tranche is estimated at one billion dollars, according to a statement by the ministry. Meanwhile, Nasr met with Jan Walliser, the Vice President for the World Bank Global Practices for Equitable Growth, Finance and Institutions. he talks handled the outcome of the latest mission sent by the bank to Egypt on April 3 to assess steps taken by Egyptian ministries to facilitate doing business in the country, added the statement. |
