 The ninth governors' council meeting, under Prime Minister Sherif Ismail, tackled President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's directives to confront land encroachments, said Local Development Minister Hisham el Sherif
. Ismail directed governors to expedite listing lands in each governorate to protect them from encroachments and hold violators accountable, Minister El Sherif said. . He added that meeting tackled Sisi's directives to follow up resolutions issued during the previous meetings of the governors’ council. The Premier, during the conference, issued directives to improve the living standards of the citizens and accelerate the implementation of the economic development plans. As for Ramadan preparations, the meeting took up measures aimed at securing basic commodities at affordable prices along with increasing outlets across all villages, El Sherif said. He said the Local Development Ministry is mulling regulations that need reform as well as others on land encroachments. |
