The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced it is launching an initiative to naturalize Corporate Excellence Expert positions in the private sector.
His Excellency Mohamed Helal Al-Muhairi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, said that the initiative will be executed before SKEA program, which comes within the framework of the Chamber’s strategy to develop the capabilities of employees in the private sector and prepare them to be real ambassadors of quality and corporate excellence. “This can be done by holding specialized training programs and courses in the field of corporate excellence that focus on understanding international models, especially the European and American ones,” he said, adding that SKEA office will organize a series of excellence programs and self-evaluation courses in addition to special international courses to prepare and habilitate Emirati assessors. Al-Muhairi noted that practical training would follow theoretical training under the supervision of an elite of local and regional experts. Emirati participants in these programs will have the opportunity of an active participation in corporate evaluation works of SKEA. The Abu Dhabi Chamber, through SKEA program, contributed over the years to training and habilitating 250 excellence experts from Emirati nationals, pointing out that this initiative comes to continue what that Chamber had started years ago. “However, the Chamber will focus on training Emirati nationals to work in the position of Corporate Excellence Expert in the private sector despite the activities and sectors in the UAE,” he said. |
