 Nasr, USAID mission chief review enhancing cooperation International Cooperation and Investment Minister Sahar Nasr had talks with the US Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission Director in Egypt Sherry Carlin on means of promoting joint cooperation in the fields of combating corruption, supporting technical education and expanding investments in various fields.
Nasr called on the USAID director to prop up private sector projects as well as youth and women entrepreneurs, the Investment and International Cooperation Ministry said in a statement The minister also urged Carlin to support a fund for empowering women at the economic level that was set up in tandem with the World Bank. Carlin underlined the strength of Egyptian-US ties. She said the US administration is looking forward to having strong partnership with Egypt in various economic and investment domains in the coming period. |
