Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) announced new prices for liquefied gas (propane and butane) for August.
Propane will be sold for USD 420 per metric ton this month, up USD 75 compared to last July where it was sold at USD 345, KPC said in a statement to KUNA . Meanwhile, butane will be sold at USD 460 per metric ton, up USD 95 compared to July where it was recorded at USD 365, it added. Propane and butane are used in petrochemical industries and they are also used for heating and as cooking fuel.
