Minister of Local Development Hesham el Sherif reviewed with Prime Minister Sherif Ismail a plan to accelerate development projects nationwide.
Addressing a press conference following the meeting, el Sherif said governors would be responsible for assessment of their provincial needs and measures necessary to fight corruption. The development plan would be reviewed by every governorate to make sure it meets the aspiration of people, the minister said. Some of the planned development projects were launched in some governorates, including a sewage network to serve more than 2 million people, added the minister. |
