Defense Minister Sedqi Sobhi reviewed with his Sudanese counterpart Ahmed Awad Ibn Auf the latest developments on the local and regional arenas and a number of issues of common concern.
During the meeting with Ibn Auf and his accompanying delegation, Sobhi stressed the depth of historical relations binding the two nations and the importance of cooperation between both countries in facing challenges. Meantime, the Sudanese defense minister affirmed the strength of Egyptian-Sudanese relations and the keenness of Sudan on boosting partnership and cooperation in different fields. Ibn Auf lauded Egypt's stances and efforts in maintaining peace and security and fighting terrorism in Africa. |
