An Egyptian-Sudanese ports committee concluded its meetings under the co-chairmanship of Egypt's investment and international cooperation ministry undersecretary Fathi Abdel-Azim and his counterpart of Sudan's foreign ministry Abdel-Ghani el-Naem.
They agreed on continuing efforts to ease travel and cargo traffic across the border to increase trade exchange and investments between both countries, the Sudanese Embassy in Cairo said in a press release. A meeting was planned for business people from both countries to mull investment opportunities, said the statement. Two parking lots will be established in Aswan of Egypt and Wadi Halfa of Sudan for buses from the two countries. A panel will also be formed to consider customs duties at the border crossings. |
