Eleven companies affiliated to the Holding Company for Maritime and Land Transport and the Holding Company for Tourism, Hotels and Cinema have recorded net profit of EGP 4.49 billion during the 2016-2017 fiscal year, the Ministry of Public Business Sector revealed.
In a statement the ministry said the 11 companies have achieved an 80.3 percent growth rate year-on-year in the 2016-2017 fiscal year. Having finalized their general assembly meetings, the companies’ aggregated profit has registered EGP 3.67 billion, compared to EGP 1.67 billion during the same period a year earlier, said the statement. The statement comes within the framework of the ministry’s efforts to observe the companies’ business results. |
