The unified planning bill will be referred to the Cabinet within 10 days in order to expedite Egypt’s economic and social plan, Minister of Planning, Monitoring and Administrative Reform Hala el Saeed said.
The minister made the remarks during her meeting with Fayoum Governor Gamal Samy, during which they touched on the ongoing projects in the governorate that need to be finalized as soon as possible. The 2018/2019 plan takes into consideration maintaining decentralization across the country with the aim of bridging the development gaps in addition to linking the volume of investments to the indicators of human, social and economic development in governorates, the minister said. The unified planning bill is a step towards achieving social and economic justice in light of the unemployment rates among the youth as well as the medical services provided. |
