Dubai Chamber’s Chairman lauded the dedication of Tejar Dubai’s participants, and said that the launch of the project demonstrates the ability of young entrepreneurs to turn their vision and creative ideas into a reality, adding that such ventures also contribute to Dubai’s economic growth. For his part, H.E. Al Shirawi emphasised the tremendous success that Tejar Dubai has witnessed since it was established in 2013. He added that the launch of Re:Urban Studio is significant as it aims to connect all creative individuals in one hub and provide them with useful tools and knowledge they need to succeed in all design fields. Commenting on the launch, Mashaeil Al Ali said the main aim of the commercial project is to provide an integrated platform and work space for creative and design professionals. Al Ali thanked Tejar Dubai and Dubai Chamber for its support, particularly with the development of the business model and financial support, which she says was critical to getting the project off the ground. She also revealed her team’s ambition to expand the scope of the studio to offer more specialised services for various design fields, and expand geographically to other cities in the UAE and GCC. Tejar Dubai is a specialised entrepreneurial development programme that provides young Emirati entrepreneurs with access to an extensive development programme, including classroom learning, on-site training, mentoring and business advice, as well as networking opportunities with local and international business leaders, and access to investment capital. |
