 The ministerial economic committee was held under Prime Minister Sherif Ismail.
On his part, Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) governor Tareq Amer said, in press statements following the meeting in question, that we are working on reducing the inflation rates to 13% mid next year. Amer went on to say that the total volume of foreign currencies' inflow that entered Egypt since the floating of the Egyptian pound amounted to $80 billion. On the other hand, the committee previewed all efforts exerted to develop the Grand Egyptian Museum project. |
