 The Egyptian Exchange gains hit EGP 19 billion last week as its index jumped 1.87 per cent.
The market capital hit EGP 789.6 billion, with the benchmark index EGX 30 surged by 1.87 per cent to reach 14,106 points, said a weekly report issued by the Egyptian Exchange . The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) also upped 1.25 per cent to reach 773 points. The all-embracing EGX 100 index rose 3.13 per cent, taking the index to 1,786 points. |
