Trade and Industry Minister and president of the Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) Development Authority, Tarek Qabil, witnessed the concluding ceremony on implementing an agreement of the emergency employment investment project in Egypt.
The agreement, signed in 2014, was carried out by the SMEs Development Authority through a grant worth 67.6 million euros from EU in cooperation with the World Bank. Chief executive officer of the SMEs Development Authority Nevin Gamea, Head of the European Union Delegation to Egypt ambassador Ivan Surkos and a number of ministers, governors along with WB representatives were present at the ceremony. The program targeted reducing poverty through creating new job opportunities. |
