 The Head of COMESA Regional Investment Agency Heba Salama said that the participation of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi in the Africa 2017 forum contributed to its success.
In statements, Salama underlined that the keenness of Sisi to attend several sessions in the forum drew regional, African and international attention to the event which wrapped up its activities here. Sisi paid attention to Africa since day one of assuming post and managed to enable Egypt to restore its pivotal role in the continent as the country hosted many African economic events over the past three years, she underscored. This helped in enhancing contacts between officials and investors for the best interests of the whole continent, Salama reiterated. She further asserted that the COMESA Regional Investment Agency was responsible for organizing the forum in cooperation with a number of Egyptian governmental entities such as the Investment and the Foreign Affairs Ministries. |
