Distance Learning and Training Company Group (DLT), the strategic partner of the Union of News Agencies of the organization of Islamic Cooperation, signed a memorandum of strategic cooperation with the Russian International Cooperation Center at the Federation’s headquarters in Jeddah recently.
The memorandum was signed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group (DLT), the Group’s Chief Executive Officer Zuhair Bin Ali Azhar, and the Russian International Cooperation Center, the CEO, Stanislav Kudryashov. Kudryashov, accompanied by Vice President of the International Cooperation Center, Mohammed Jassim, and the Adviser to the President of the Center, Sergey Samaga, toured the various departments and sections of the union of News Agencies of the OIC countries, including editorial, Arabic, English, French Departments and sections of photography and editing. On the tasks entrusted to it and the achievements, it has made. He also reviewed the Federation’s website and listened to an explanation of the union’s editorial concerns, especially the related to Islamophobia and the challenges faced by Muslims abroad in the light of the growing radical right movements and the role of the Union in highlighting these challenges and transmitting them to the media in Islamic countries. Kudryashov toured the Union’s Media Training Center, briefed the lecture halls, training laboratories, and training studios. He witnessed the latest technologies and has been briefed about training programs. Kudryashov was pleased to visit the headquarters of the Union of News Agencies of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. He expressed his admiration for what he saw in the various departments of the Union and in the modern media training center of the Union. |
