Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received a corporate delegation from Longi Green Energy and the Kaiksow Group headed by the group Chairman Bader Ahmed Kaiksow.
The minister outlined the national energy efficiency plan and the national plan for renewable energy and future projects. Kaiksow briefed the minister on the activities and projects of the group which works in close cooperation with LONGI in solar energy technology. The company expressed its intent to contribute to a 100-megawatt solar power plant project to be set up in Bahrain. The minister said Bahrain welcomes cooperation opportunities with local and international companies that offer the best technologies to develop and improve the quality of electricity and water services. The delegation thanked the minister for opening up the prospects and areas of cooperation. |
