The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry has participated in the World Future Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi 2018 at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center ADNEC.
The Chamber’s participation comes within its initiatives to support its member companies that operate in the renewable and clean energy sector. By taking part in the World Future Energy Summit, the Abu Dhabi Chamber emphasizes its support to the efforts of Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company PJSC (Masdar) and other official authorities in Abu Dhabi which work on developing the renewable energy sector. More than 600 energy companies from 40 countries took part in the summit. “Our participation in this important event comes within the efforts of the Abu Dhabi Chamber to support the efforts of promoting for the emirate of Abu Dhabi as a prominent investment center in the region,” said Mr. Abdullah Ghurair Al-Qubaisi, Deputy Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, on the occasion of the World Future Energy Summit. “The World Future Energy Summit is one of the most important specialized exhibitions in the field of energy considering its role in promoting and spreading knowledge about the sector of future energy to which the government of Abu Dhabi pays much attention considering the pioneering projects it adopts and executes starting with Masdar City.” Al-Qubaisi added that the exhibitions which are being held at the sideline of the summit are: World Future Energy Summit Conference 2018, the 6th International Water Summit, and the 5th EcoWASTE Exhibition, which present an excellent opportunity to national companies to take a closer look at comprehensive solutions in the fields of energy, environment, water, waste recycling, equipment, and latest technologies. “Climate Innovations Exchange Forum (CLIX), which is hosted by the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, acts as a platform for entrepreneurs and innovators to build active partnerships and to secure financing from the biggest international investors,” Al-Qubaisi stated. The stand of the Abu Dhabi Chamber at the summit and all the other exhibitions provides economic data and information as well as a package of electronic services on how to start a business and the procedures and terms of obtaining licenses in Abu Dhabi. The stand also provides information on the registered companies in Abu Dhabi and classified according activity and size, in addition to information and booklets on the investment climate in Abu Dhabi, especially in the sectors which the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030 focuses on. |
