Manama, Feb. 17 (BNA): Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received Bahrain Institute for Banking and Finance (BIBF) Director General Dr. Ahmed Abdul Hamid Al Shaikh and his accompanying delegation.
Electricity and Water Affairs Deputy Chief Executive Officer Adnan Mohammed Fakhro was present on the occasion. The two sides discussed efforts of the institute in boosting Bahrain’s economy by implementing academic programmes and providing specialized training courses in banking, finance, administration and others disciplines. The minister also reiterated his support for the institute’s development programmes. The two sides also discussed means of enhancing existing cooperation between the institute and the electricity, water and renewable energy sectors. The minister was briefed on specialized programmes the Institute provides as well as courses and workshops that contribute to the development of specialized cadres. The visitors thanked the minister and the officials for the warm welcome and hospitality, expressing hope the relationship between the two parties would be further strengthened.
