Jordan is always seeking to strengthen its economic relations with various countries throughout the world, Chairman of Amman Chamber of Commerce Issa Haider Murad said .
In a statement, the senator stressed that Jordan is an ideal trade gateway to the region and the world's countries and enjoys an attractive investment environment that encourages to invest in various sectors and joint projects, especially with regard to reconstruction of Syria and Iraq. In two separate meetings with non-resident Ambassador of Croatia to the Kingdom, Tomislav Bosnjak, and the non-resident Ambassador of Costa Rica, Franciso Chanon Hernandez, Eranandis, he said that Jordan is carrying out a comprehensive economic reform which requires it to boost economic ties with different countries in the world. Murad pointed added that the Kingdom had signed free trade agreements with several countries, including the United States, Turkey, Singapore and others, and will sign cooperation deals with several major countries. For his part, the Croatian ambassador expressed his country's interest in cooperating with Jordan, especially in the fields of education, health, information technology and engineering technology, pointing out that Croatia will work to benefit from the Kingdom through the port of Aqaba as a hub for the entry of its products to the neighboring countries. Meanwhile, the Ambassador of Costa Rica explained that his country and Jordan have many opportunities for tourism, educational, technological and commercial cooperation. He called on the Jordanian private sector to visit Costa Rica and took a first-hand look at the commercial and investment opportunities available, stressing the embassy's readiness to coordinate with the Chamber to establish a joint economic event this year. |
