The Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, ACCI, has signed an agreement with the Kuwait Business Council in Dubai and the Northern Regions to promote mutual cooperation, serve the business community, and organise joint meetings and events, which will provide opportunities for further cooperation and exchanging knowledge.
The agreement was signed by Mohammed Ali Al Janahi, Executive Director of the Investment and Business Development Division at ACCI, and Lama Jasim Borsali, Chairwoman of the Kuwaiti Business Council. The agreement aims to promote investment opportunities, exchange information and commercial statistics, and organise joint projects and initiatives, with the aim of serving both parties and encouraging the participation of institutions and individuals in international exhibitions and events in both the emirate of Ajman and Kuwait, as well to assist in visits between commercial delegations, organise joint meetings between businessmen and entrepreneurs, and discuss related challenges and obstacles, to draft recommendations that will support business growth and create effective partnerships. Al Janahi stressed that the agreement is the outcome of the serious cooperation between the Chamber and the Council, while praising their role in linking entrepreneurs, enabling direct communication, and encouraging investment and development. He added that the Chamber has prioritised its cooperation with all countries, especially those in the Gulf Cooperation Council, as per the directives and monitoring of the wise leadership, while praising the facilitations and incentives provided by Ajman to investors and businessmen. Borsali reiterated the importance of the agreement and its role in improving the ongoing cooperation between the Chamber and the Council. She added that the agreement will support the exchange of information and research among members of the business community, and will create a suitable environment that will attract businessmen and promote business partnerships. |
