Egyptian PM Receives Arab Civil Service Ministers

Prime Minister Sherif Ismail received ministers of civil services and human resources development of Saudi Arabia, Oman, Sudan, Morocco, and Palestine on the sidelines of the Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO) meetings.

Minister of Planning Hala el Saeed, chairman of the Central Authority for Organization and Administration and ARADO chief also attended the meeting.

Ismail reiterated Egypt’s keenness on supporting ARADO endeavors, aimed at boosting the aspects of development and administrative reform in the Arab countries to achieve sustainable development goals.

During the meeting, they reviewed a number of ideas for developing the work system within the governmental agencies and institutions and benefiting from the available human resources.

The Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO) kicked off Sunday in Cairo at ministerial level, under Saudi Civil Service Minister Suleiman bin Abullah.

The executive council of ARADO comprises member states; UAE, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Oman, Egypt, Qatar and Morocco, while its general assembly groups all Arab countries.

The ARADO was established in 1961 as a specialized organization of the Arab League to shoulder the responsibility of administrative development in the Arab region.

Its mission is to contribute to administrative development in the Arab countries in a way that serves comprehensive development issues.
