Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority Mohab Mamish witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between El Timsah Shipbuilding Company and Canal Company for Mooring and Lights to launch a joint project for maritime services.
Upon the deal, a modern ship of DP2 model should be purchased to enforce a contract with Balaeim Petroleum Company as part of the authority's plan to have a fleet of modern vessels to meet the requirements of oil companies and the Suez Canal Authority, Mamish said in a statement. The deal comes within the framework of the authority's strategy to develop its companies through adding new activities and making good use of their potentials, which could result in enhancing their competitiveness, he added. |
