State Minister for Military Production Mohamed Saeed el Assar said that his ministry is open for cooperation with international companies to transfer and localize technology in the various domains.
This came at a high-level meeting with electronics manufacturing giant "Foxconn Group". Over the past period, the Military Production Ministry partnered with international companies operating in the field of technology transfer and localization, as well as governmental bodies and the private sector, he said. Assar reviewed with the delegation domestic manufacturing of electronic devices and the potentials of Banha Company for Electronic Industries (Factory 144). For his part, the chairman of "Foxconn Group" expounded his company's expertise in the electronic and technological fields and the possibility of benefiting from it in manufacturing electrical appliances, including tablets and communication devices. In 2017, Foxconn Technology Group was ranked No. 27 on the "Fortune Global 500" list of the world's largest companies generating revenues and profits. |
