Egypt’s revenue from the Suez Canal for the 2017-2018 financial year soared by 11.5 per cent to a record high $5.585 billion during the current fiscal year 2017-2018, which runs from July 1 to the end of June
The Suez Canal Authority chairman Mohab Mamish, that revenue increased by $576.9 million to top $5.585, up from $5.008 billion last year. In a statement posted on its official website , he said that the Suez Canal has achieved this year “an all-time” record revenues in its history . Revenues topped $503.1 million last May, compared with $439.7 million, during the same month. |
