Saudi Minister Plenipotentiary Charges d'Affaires, Waleed Bukhari, received 'Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal' Group CEO, Chairman of the Lebanese-Saudi Business Council, Raouf Abu Zaki, in the presence of Embassy's Economic Advisor Marwan al-Saleh.
Bukhari and Abu Zaki reportedly discussed the Kingdom's participation in the 26th session of the Arab Economic Forum, organized by the Economy and Business Group, under the patronage of Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri in Beirut on July 12 and 13. Discussions also covered the issue of honoring the Saudi Fund for Development in the framework of the Forum as well as the Saudi-Lebanese ties. An impending visit by a Lebanese economic delegation to the Kingdom also featured on their talks. Bukhari confirmed his attendance at the Forum's opening ceremony and other activities related to the Kingdom. Abu Zaki, for his part, expected an active Saudi movement towards Lebanon after the government formation. |
