The members of the Board of Directors of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, ACCI, praised the efforts of Ajman’s wise leadership to create a flexible economic environment, which will help strengthen the growth and sustainability of various economic sectors.
Abdullah Al Muwaiji, Chairman of the ACCI, stated that the decision of the Ajman Government will improve the local and international competitiveness of the emirate’s economy, while praising Decision No. 21 for 2018, which was made by H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Ajman Executive Council. The decision exempts ACCI members who were licenced by the Ajman Department of Economic Development from paying fines for not renewing their ACCI membership fees that expired on 31st December, 2017, providing they have requested to renew their membership. The exemption period will continue until 31st December, 2018, he added. Al Muwaiji stressed that the decision is part of Sheikh Ammar’s efforts to promote Ajman’s economy and help local businesses, while affirming that it will increase the confidence of the ACCI’s members in the local economy, as well as support the business sector and improve performance and sustainability. Salem Al Suwaidi, Director-General of the ACCI, praised the efforts of the wise leadership to create an attractive economic environment that will ensure the stability of companies, while highlighting the importance of the decision, which will have a positive effect on the ACCI’s members, as well as enable some to update their status and correctly run their businesses. |
