Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, has said that the UAE and China enjoy high levels of dialogue and coordination. These ties are reflected in the intensity of official and trade delegation visits between the two nations, having exceeded 120 between 2011 and 2017.
In an interview with Emirates News Agency, WAM, the UAE Minister noted China's standing as the world's second-largest economy and is an essential player in the growth of global foreign trade and investment flows. Al Mansouri highlighted the efforts undertaken by the leaders of the two countries to further develop ties via high-level visits. He noted the upcoming visit of President Xi Jinping of China to the UAE, and the extension of cooperation and partnership efforts by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, during his visit to China in 2015.
