The meetings explored means of fostering bilateral cooperation between Egypt and some African countries.
Minister of Trade and Industry Amr Nassar held a series of intensive talks with a number of African trade ministers, on the sidelines of the 20th Summit of the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (Comesa) Heads of State and Government, in Zambia’s capital Lusaka. He met with Amelia Kyambadde, Ugandan Minister of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives, where they discussed setting up a logistics center in Uganda, as well as a joint Egyptian-Ugandan business council to boost trade and investments between the two countries. The minister also met with Zambian Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry Christopher Yaluma; Tunisian Trade Minister Omar Behi; and Malawi Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism Henry Mussa. The meetings explored means of fostering bilateral cooperation between Egypt and their respective countries in the coming period. |
