US Senator Bernie Sanders hailed immense solar energy projects implemented by Egypt.
In a post on his official Facebook page, Sanders said “While (US President Donald) Trump is ending America's commitment to combatting climate change, Egypt is building the world's largest solar farm in the middle of the desert.” He added “This is the kind of revolutionary technology we should be taking advantage of to grow our economy and sustain our planet for future generations.” Bernie Sanders is a US Senator, and the ranking member of the Senate budget committee. He represents the state of Vermont, and is the longest-serving independent in the history of Congress. |
