Saudi Ports Authority: Handling 24 Million Tons Of Cargo During July 2018

The total tonnage of handling cargo in Saudi ports during July 2018 was 24 million tons, an increase of 4.46% over the same period last year, while the number of handling containers reached 566,000, an increase of 1.83% achieved in the same period of the previous year, according to the statistical index issued by Saudi Ports Authority "MAWANI".

The number of vessels in the nine Saudi ports during the month of July 2018 reached (1,113,000), the number of passengers totaled (114,000) , while the number of vehicles reached (53,000), and the number of livestock was (567,000) cattle.
