The Permanent Economic Development Committee of Ajman's Executive Council held its 8th session of 2018 chaired by Abdullah Al Muwaiji, Chairman of the Committee, to discuss the its performance and latest activities, in the presence of Dr. Saeed Saif Al Matroushi, Secretary-General of the Executive Council in Ajman, and members of the committee, Salem Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Ali Issa Al Nuaimi, Yafea Eid Al Faraj, Marwan Obaid Al Muhairi and Khawla Al Yassi, the committee moderator.
Al Muwaiji hailed the directives of the wise leadership in providing a competitive economic environment aimed at reinforcing the leadership and the position of the UAE to attract investors through the various facilities in the country and draft legislation that contribute to the economic development. The members of the committee praised the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers to allow international investors to own 100 percent of their companies, which will reinforce the increase in FDI and maximise the implementation of sustainable projects so that the UAE becomes a permanent headquarters for major international companies in a variety of fields. The participants in the meeting stressed that the decisions of the wise leadership reflect the fact that the country is in line with the economic developments to make it a leading model that meets the ambitions and expectations of businessmen. |
