Sudanese Minister of Industry Musa Karama discussed with Egyptian Ambassador in Khartoum Osama Shaltout means of boosting industrial cooperation between the two countries in addition to accelerating the pace of Egyptian industrial projects in Sudan.
In statements to MENA, Shaltout said the meeting comes in light of strong bilateral relations and in implementation of the agreement reached between Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and his Sudanese counterpart Omar al Bashir during Khartoum summit in July with regard to preparing for a second meeting of the joint presidential committee, slated for October. We will work to support bilateral relations at all levels, the ambassador said, noting that Egypt’s private sector will be urged to participate in several industries in Sudan. Meanwhile, the Sudanese minister asserted that Cairo-Khartoum relations were deeply-rooted, Shaltout indicated. Karama also called for boosting economic, trade, cultural and social cooperation between the two countries, he added. |
