Abu Dhabi General Services Company, Musanada, is currently participating in three internal road projects, with a total value of over AED353.3 million across phases 21, 22 and 23 at various locations in Al Ain city.

It is expected to complete Phase 22 by October this year, while phases 21 and 23 will be completed by August 2019.

"These projects form part of Musanada’s efforts to realise the vision of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to provide high quality infrastructure that meets the needs of individuals and the community at large, in line with best international standards and under close follow-up by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces," stated Saleh Al Sheibah Al Mazrouei, Musanada’s Acting Roads and Infrastructure Executive Director.

Elaborating on the details of the Al Ain 3 Internal Road Projects, Al Mazrouei added, "The work in the AED127.48-million project of Phase 21 commenced in August 2017, over an area of more than 1.853 million square metres, and is expected to be completed by August 2019.

The current percentage of completion is 43.2 percent.

The project comprises internal road and infrastructure works, such as sewerage, storm water and potable water networks, as well as internal road lighting.

Al Mazrouei added, "Phase 22 is an internal road construction project spanning various areas in Al Ain City. The AED113.71-million project started in December 2016 over an area of 350,000 square metres.

The project is expected to be completed in October this year.

In line with the current trend, the project was keen on observing the rationing of energy and reductions in operating costs.

LED lights (used for the three projects in phases 21, 22 and 23) were deployed in the project’s street lighting design. There are 309 workers engaged in performing the works of the project, and the percentage of completion for this phase stands at 69 percent."
