Industry, Commerce & Tourism Minister Zayed R. Al Zayani chaired the 29th Joint Economic Committee between the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism and Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), which was held in presence of BCCI Chairman, Sameer Abdulla Nass, and a number of committee members from both sides.
The minister confirmed government’s support for all steps and initiatives that benefit the economic sector in Bahrain and enhance legislative structure to serve the national economy interest. He also affirmed the ministry's continues coordination with all concerned bodies to achieve the aspirations of the government in all issues and topics that contribute to develop the commercial and investment environment in the Kingdom. BCCI Chairman appreciates the efforts undertaken by Bahrain’s Government and Industry, Commerce and Tourism Ministry to enhance the national economy of Bahrain. The meeting touched several topics including the principles of corporate governance and other common topics between the ministry and BCCI. The minister expressed his appreciation for all the efforts undertaken by the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry that are benefit the commercial sector and the national economy in general. |
