Caretaker Minister of Economy and Trade, Raed Khoury, met at his office in the ministry with Greek Alternate Foreign Minister for European Affairs, George Katrougkalos, with whom he discussed the current situation and the role assumed by Greece to improve its economic situation.
"We count a lot on Lebanon and on the joint cooperation pertaining to tourism and a number of productive sectors, in addition to projects of infrastructure development and Lebanon's role in the Silk Road," Katrougkalos said. He also presented Khoury with an invitation to attend an exhibition ceremony in December in Greece, and the annual economic summit. Separately, Khoury met with Spanish Ambassador to Lebanon, Jose Maria Ferre de la Pena, who invited him to participate in the economic and trade cooperation meeting between Lebanon and Spain. |
