The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) today announced that the Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain, HE Mr. Rasheed Mohammed Al Maraj, attended the 2018 Future Investment Initiative (FII) as part of Bahrain’s delegation led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and First Deputy Prime Minister.
The 2018 FII is being held under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the chairmanship of HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince, Chairman of the Council for Economic and Development Affairs and Chairman of the Public Investment Fund (PIF). This participation highlights the distinctive position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the regional and international levels, and reflects the constructive role it plays in the stability and development of the region. The forum which attracts high level representation from across the world, includes workshops and seminars on developments in the Saudi economy, the huge investment opportunities that the Kingdom has to offer, and the trends that will shape the future of the region’s economy as a result of the size and nature of these investment opportunities. The CBB looks forward to participate in this event which will highlight the investment opportunities and the potential impact on the wider region for such massive investment programs. |
