Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed el Assar called on Slovenian defense companies to participate in the 1st Egypt Defense Expo (EDEX 2018), that is organized by the Ministry of Defense under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi during the period December 3-5, 2018.
The remark was made at a meeting with Slovenian Ambassador to Egypt Tanja Miškova and her accompanying delegation at the Ministry of Military Production premises. The two sides witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the National Authority for Military Production and Slovenia's Iskra Company, a globally recognized provider of intelligent Industrial solutions and cutting-edge electrotechnical products. The exhibition is a great opportunity to get acquainted with potentials of the Egyptian defense industries and exhibitors to showcase the latest military and security technology, equipment and systems across land, sea and air, Assar said. He asserted the ministry's wish to establish joint cooperation with Slovenia in a way that meets the interests of both sides and to make best use of Slovenia's distinguished expertise in many state-of-the-art industry fields. The Slovenian Ambassador underlined the importance of cooperation with the ministry's companies whose products are of distinguished quality that meets global standards. She voiced confidence in the success of cooperation between both sides in implementing national and development projects particularly in energy fields. |
