Transport Minister Hesham Arafat discussed with his Mozambican counterpart Carlos Mesquita boosting bilateral cooperation in the transport domain.
During their meeting, the two ministers discussed means of benefiting from the Egypt's expertise in the railway, roads and river transport domains. Arafat expressed Egypt's readiness for providing expertise and training in these fields to Mozambique. Mesquita hailed the Egyptian government's construction of 7,000 kilometers of roads in four years in line with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's directives to upgrade the national railway network. The two sides also discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation in the railways, roads and bridges sectors. |
