Egypt has introduced several pro-SME measures to encourage such projects, Minister of Finance Mohamed Maait said .
These measures, implemented through initiatives introduced by the Central Bank of Egypt and the Social Fund for Development, aimed at giving needed support to SME, through providing them with required financing, Maait addressed the audience of the Policy and Transformational Entrepreneurship session, held on the on the sidelines of Africa 2018 Forum, hosted at the Red Sea resort city of Sharm el Sheikh. The government went on shoring up the entrepreneurs along with SMEs as part of its endeavor to create jobs and spur the economy, Maiit added. |
