Minister of Planning, Monitoring and Administrative Reform Hala el Saeed said Saturday global studies indicate that every 1 percent increase in electronic transactions leads to a 0.04 percent increase in GDP.
The Egyptian state encourages private investment by promoting investment in infrastructure and increasing public investments to stimulate private investment, the minister added in her speech to the opening session of the 5th "Akhbar Al Youm" Economic Conference, which kicked off on Saturday evening and is expected to last for two days. Saeed said that public investments play a key role in developing the level of infrastructure. |
