Jordan-Europe Business Association (JEBA) signed with Bulgarian Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the aim of boosting economic relations between Jordan and Bulgarian, especially at the level of private sector institutions.
Under the MoU, which was signed by JEBA President Jamal Fariz and Chairman of Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry Yancho Yanev, the two sides will exchange data, studies and legislations, boost trade relations between companies from both countries, promote investments and the transfer of technology and set up joint projects. According to a press statement by JEBA, The MoU also aims at facilitating the participation of members of JEBA in the activities, events and exhibitions planned for by the two sides, enhancing e-commerce opportunities, reaching potential partners, simplifying negotiation procedures, and participating in technological and innovative projects of mutual interest. The deal includes mechanisms for cooperation between the Association and the Chamber in organizing business seminars, workshops and trade missions in order to gain wider knowledge of the commercial opportunities and investment opportunities in both countries. JEBA president said the MoU is part of efforts of the association to enhance its cooperation with European institutions in order to develop the Kingdom's trade with the EU countries, attract investments, highlight the economic opportunities available in the national economy and enhance the export capabilities of Jordanian companies. |
