The trade balance deficit for the first ten months of this year fell by 3 percent, compared to the same period of 2017.
The total export coverage rate of imports reached 38.1 percent during the same period of this year, while the coverage rate reached 36.5 percent during the same period of 2017, an increase of 1.6 percentage points, according to data from the Department of Statistic. National exports during the first ten months of 2018 stood at JD3.8 billion with an increase of 3.9 percent compared to the same period last year, while the value of imports reached JD11.8 billion during, a decrease of 0.5 percent, compared to the same period of 2017. |
